The animal news of the day is a ship had hit a whale, and the ship men had followed the whale 48 miles before the crew found out that the whale was ok.
WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE STORY
What I think about the story is that I was mad at the ship men at first but when they figured out that it was OK I felt better.

I think that the crew of that ship should be commended for their concern for the whale. They could have just sailed away and forgotten about it. I don't know what they could have done if the whale was in trouble, but they did show some concern.
